Did you know that research shows that 81% of New Years Resolutions are broken by February?!
I do not know how many times I have made the New Years Resolution to eat better, to lose weight, to get up earlier, to be more positive amongst other resolutions on my list!
I love New Years, it is Day 1 of 365 and a clean slate. But did you know that everyday is a new day and a clean slate so why are we putting all this pressure on ourselves to start each New Year with all these resolutions?
We get so caught up on the media and advertising that it is almost if we do not have a resolution then we lack something; ambition, goals?!
If we simply change the way we think and instead commit to making small consistent changes over a year then the time a New Year rolls around we will not need to make any resolutions.
We do not need a huge list of changes but instead to take one step at a time. It takes 21 days to create a habit so committing to one change at a time and sticking to it is a lot more beneficial and practical than a list of impossibly long, confidence shaking resolutions that will be broken shortly after we start.
If you are looking to commit to eating healthier this year and have no idea where to begin, start with my Facebook Group, for access to wonderful healthy recipes that will please even the fussiest eaters.

So perhaps this New Years your resolution will be to not make any !
Happy New Year and here’s to a healthy, deliciously tasty 2023!
