When I found thisĀ chocolate walnut and date torte, it reminded me of a pavlova! Who doesn't love a good Pav?! I substituted the walnuts with pecans and it only consists of 5 ingredients! It has become one of Hubby's new favourite desserts!
Preheat oven to 170c/340fBeat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar until mixture becomes glossy and meringue like.Gently fold in nuts, dates and chocolate. Place mixture in tin. Bake for 1-1/14 hours depending on your oven.Cool and serve.
